A mega tooth ache and still no relief?

I had a filling put in2 weeks ago but had a tooth ache within days i returned to the dentist and he had to remove the filling- it was agony even after injections he told me the nerve was split and the filling was too deep i had an infection in the tooth i would have to have temp filling its still agony and i can only get an appointment for the end of december all the dentists are polish and dont talk much english so i am confused and have a mega tooth ache even loads of painkillers how long will all this treatment take

I think what you may be saying is he put you back on antibiotics and took out the filling and gave you temp filling, because you need a root canal.
