My dental appointment isn't until Monday....Motrin %26amp; Aleve aren't working anymore.

I have a horrible tooth ache!! What can I take?
This is actually a dental emergency! Call your dentist and tell him/her of your great pain, and they will probably give you an appointment today.
Reply:clove oil can sooth a toothache or babies teething gel works too, you might find there's still that ache there though, head pain is horrible, I feel for you.
Reply:Aleve works better than most, but since it isn't working go to the ER and get prescribed antibiotics to take the infection out.





Also, sleep at night propped up on pillows. When you lay flat your blood rushes to your brain causing your tooth to hurt really really bad during the wee hours. This is what my dentist told me and I wish he had of told me years and years ago.
Reply:Go buy some BC POWDER, you can get it anywhere try Walgreen's or CVS, but you just pour the powder on the tooth that aches and within like 30 minutes you should feel results.
Reply:take 1000mg of tylenol aswell. Max dose of Motrin is 800mg and Aleve 1000mg but do not take latter two together okay. DO you have vicodin or similar?

Its gonna take time for the pain killers to work, dont worry.


boil some water, take a nice clean wash cloth, and just hold it on your cheek, where the tooth is at. (Dont put it on the tooth)
