I had silver fillings replaced with composite ones to match my teeth. I had it done to two teeth a couple of weeks ago...no pain. I went last week Thursday, and my tooth is still hurting me. It's a mild pain. Painkillers help but it's only temporary. Any advice?

Sounds like you have a nerve that is close to the fillings. I would consult further with your dentist as long-term topical or orally taken painkillers won't solve the actual problem.

Reply:Orajel works. And if that doesnt work there is clove oil...its ikcy but a friend of mine was told it works and he said it helped him a little bit
