Tooth Ache/Braces?

okay everyone i have a toothache that started last monday i dont know what had caused it to happen. i dont like the dentist cause im scared that if i go they will tell me that i need braces cause i kinda have a crooked teeth and i have to big teeth in the front and im scared if i get braces that the braces will push my two front teeth back and make them fall out even though im going there to have them check my toothache also i dont know which tooth it is that hurts so if u can help ill apprieciate it by the way im 17

Well you might have a cavity or something which is causing your toothache so you need to go to the dentist to get that checked out.





As for braces - well the dentist can't force you to get them. He can advise that you get them, but at the end of the day it's YOUR decision, and if you don't want them then just tell him that.

Reply:You need to go to the dentist. You may need braces, but I had them for eight years, and I'm okay. Your teeth may be growing wrong which is why you have toothaches. Take advil or tylenol for the toothache.
Reply:why would you be afraid of braces they make your teeth look pretty. and even if you need them you dont have to get them.
Reply:I doubt that your teeth will fall out, so just get braces to get your teeth straightened cause it's better and it'll get rid of the toothache because you might just have a cavity and you can have that filled.

Reply:Don't be scared, look, all they will do iz they will take the crooked tooth out and get braces, the braces will not hurt, trust me, don't be scared. At the begginig they will hurt, because they will adjust to your mouth, but then the pain will go away,


I don't think you need any medication,


all they'll do iz give you some ointment to put on the end of the braces in the back. There's nothing to be scared of...!
Reply:dont worry about the dentist. Im getting braces soon too.....I know you probably have a good reason to be scared of the dentist....it can be frightful and scary......but you need it. Braces? Dont worry about a thing....yes, it may hurt, but they will not make your teeth fall out! Your toothache may be becasue of that.......so, i would just get the braces. Dont worry about a thing.
