I had very strong tooth ache, though I know I don't have cavities nor infections?

The pain kept moving from one tooth to another, it happened several times and some of those times painkillers worked, other times they had no effect at all. I suspect it could be because of a wisdom tooth that is growing now, it's half way out, and the pain was mostly on that side too. I don't have the possibility to see a dentist at the moment (and for the next week). Do you have any clue what this could be?

You didn't say if it was an upper tooth or a lower one...but that could have caused your pain either way. All the nerves are connected...However, it may also be an infection in the gum..hard to say.

You can use Ibuprofen ..it helps with both pain and inflammation, but check with your pharmacist about taking it together with the pain killers.

*Warm saltwater rinses

*Mix 1/2 water and 1/2 Hydrogen peroxide and rinse with that

DON'T swallow it, but if there is any infection around the

incoming wisdom tooth, it will help. A lot of times, if the tooth is half in and half out, bacteria will build up under the gum...called Pericoronitis.

* Anbesol or Orajel

Keep the area around the wisdom tooth really clean!!!

Good Luck..hope you feel better soon.
Reply:Its could be your sinus' that can cause sore teeth.
Reply:You could be right about the wisdom tooth being the culprit. It may be pushing on the other teeth as it grows out, causing them to hurt. If that is what it is, you'll just have to live with it until you can see a dental examination to determine if extraction of the wisdom tooth is needed. If your other teeth are straight now, it's possible for your wisdom tooth to push against them until they are crooked. You don't want that. The other thing it could be is an abscessed tooth. An infection growing under the tooth, and under the skin that may not be visible. If this is what it is..your pain will get worse, MUCH worse as the infection grows. If this happens, you need to find a way to go to the dentist. You'll be given antibiotics to stop the infection and the pain. I've been there, it's awful. Good luck.
Reply:MICHELLE,

IF YOUR WISDOM TEETH ARE GROWING IN THESE ARE CLASSIC SIGNS OF TEETHING. EAT A SOFTER FOOD DIET AND DON'T CHEW ON HARD FOODS. IN TIME ALL WILL BE WELL.
