Does garlic get rid of a tooth ache?

I've heard that garlic gets rid of a tooth ache,Is this true?

Does garlic get rid of a tooth ache?
Hi there!

Unfortunately no. Tooth ache is caused, most commonly, for an infection inside of the tooth, which causes swelling inside of it and therefore, pain.

Garlic is great (for cooking), but won't get rid of bacteria inside of a tooth, that needs ASAP professional care.

Take care,
