Tooth ache?
You are soooo lucky. No one knows what it is like to feel so alive as to have a tooth on fire. Chew on some ice.
Reply:Put some clove (the spice) on it, it'll numb the pain. That or alcohol.
Reply:well, there might be something stuck inbetween the teeth that hurt, so try flossing. Or, if you must take lots of advil, and put a cotton ball were it hurts, and maybe that way you can sleep.
Reply:go to a drug store and find some stuff or a tooth ach and if you don;t know what ur looking for aks the pharmasist.... kk bye bye
Reply:Sweety, you need to see the dentist anyway. This could be a serious problem, and you need to seek medical attn. They'll make a payment plan. Plus, you really don't want to be in pain, do you? Of course not. So, toughen-up, go see a dentist, and good luck! You're in my prayers.
Reply:If you're in the UK phone the NHS they'll assign you a dentist!
Reply:Been there! Nothing helped for me except lots of ibuprofin-800mg otc-and I would wet a washcloth to steamy hot as I could stand and put it on that side of my face!!!Man sounds crazy-but give it a chance it worked wonders for me!!!Eventually you are going to have to go to the dentist!See if your city has a teaching hospital that includes dentistry internship-sometimes they will sign you up and fix the problems for the credit on their internship-it's worth a shot!Good luck!!!
Reply:I'm the same as you - terrified of the dentist! I've had two very painful abscesses and I totally refused to go to the dentists with them. The pain was so bad, banging my head off a wall momentarily distracted me from it, and bought a few seconds of relief, so that became something of a hobby of mine for awhile. I did however, go to the doctors, and he prescribed some antibiotics which eased the pained when they kicked in; I'm not sure if they would be any use for a simple tooth ache though.
If it happened to me again, I would just go to the dentist. If the pain is a bad as you say it is, nothing the dentist could do to you could be as bad. You've tried painkillers, but once you get shot full of Novocain (or rendered temporary semi-unconcious as I would be), the pain will go away and it will not come back. If money is really an issue, talk to your dentist and see if you can work something out. If you're in serious pain and really require treatment, they might let you defer payment for awhile, or pay it off over a few months.
Reply:I was in exactly the same situation as you.
What worked for me was Paramol Painkiller it has Dihydrocodeine and Paracetamol and says its for dental pain.
But I eventually did go to the dentist when the pain became unbearable and guess what, I wish I had done that earlier.
Its just not worth it. Go along and tell the dentist you are terrified %26amp; they should do their very best to help.
Meantime Raw whisky directly on the area will numb it
Good Luck........Steve
Reply:get some clove powder and some clove oil...make a paste itll numb it good, i used to make it for my old man...also a leaf from a jade plant chew it, but spit out the leaf, it works, but not as well... the clove stuff works really good, in fact other people used to come to me for it too!!!

Reply:go to the dentist.there's nothing to be afraid of because the dentist will numb your mouth.seriously, you wont feel anything at all.its just *click* and your teeth is out.no pain.
Reply:First i ask of you if you had a fever... coz if you had it is necessarily to see for a dentist because you might have an infection..
Garlic provide any immediate relief. Most traditional uses of garlic to alleviate toothache suggest crushing it (to release the allicin) and placing it inside the mouth, next to the tooth. Sometimes the garlic is used in conjunction with cloves or clove oil.
The reason that garlic can be effective in relieving the pain of toothache is almost certainly the allicin - a compound with a powerful antibiotic effect that is released when garlic is crushed. It is possible that this could slow down any bacteria involved, however it is unlikely that garlic alone could halt decay.
Remember that crushed garlic is very strong and can cause skin irritation - use with caution.
Reply:swill bacardi around your mouth for as long as you can stand, it will numb the pain x
